Although Sobus have been running Freston Road Hub since the end of 2017, we are now having a formal launch to showcase the hub and what we offer.

Making this event for the families we work with at Shepherds Bush Families Project , as well as the wider community in H&F. The party will be held in Ravenscourt Park on 22nd August.
The party in the park will consists of fun games including: Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Skittles, we will have face-painting, children’s tattoos, art activities and a tombola stall with great prizes, free water and snacks will also be available. With the exception of the Tombola all activities are free of charge. We are also hoping families will bring a picnic and share their day.
We are not raising a large amount of money, so any donation, even as small as £2 is very helpful.

Free – OCN Level 1 Accredited – Employability and Volunteer Programme
OCN accredited level 1 Employability and Volunteering programme – Learn2Earn. Learn2Earn has been devised to benefit the residents of the City of Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham who are finding it difficult access employment and volunteering opportunities.
Learn2Earn is an initiative funded by the Big Lottery and run in partnership by Blenheim CDP and the Octavia Foundation.
Learn2Earn is accessible to all residents across the three boroughs who over the age of 18 and helps participants to build on existing skills as well as developing new ones. The programme aims to improve confidence, self-esteem and core skills, whilst encouraging people to take ownership over the next steps in their journey towards being a volunteer and/or employment ready.

Homeless charity Restart, which offers drop-in, employability and mentoring services, is looking for a partner. Restart offers a volunteer pool, mentoring training and management system and a unique employability service which matches clients to a diverse range of host partners to build key personal and professional skills. Restart has 10 years’ experience in the area.
The ideal partner would be an organisation who have a new or existing space to offer a drop-in and meals to homeless clients as a way to introduce rehabilitation programmes. Restart would welcome their partner’s resources to complement their own work and they must share their values of inclusion, commitment, collaboration and co-production. They have been primarily working in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea but their links would be ideal for anywhere in Central or West London.
