For Women facilitates safe, confidential and friendly online spaces where women come together to talk openly and honestly about what is on their mind;

their thoughts, feelings, worries, joys and everything in between. Women join us to listen and to be heard in a supportive and non-judgmental environment and to develop themselves and learn skills from other women’s lived experience.

Free to Be is a growing London based charity supporting children & young people who are struggling with social or emotional difficulties, and helping to create lasting change for vulnerable children’s emotional health. We regularly need warm, fun, motivated volunteers to join the teams on our Thrive Outside and Flourish projects. Occasionally, we also need support with behind the scenes administrative tasks, logistics and fundraising work.

If you’d like to volunteer with us, please complete our volunteer application form to get the ball rolling. You can also check back regularly here or sign up to our newsletter to be notified of our forthcoming projects throughout the year.

All volunteering positions with Free to Be are subject to a successful interview and references. All volunteers will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and attend specific project training.

Dear all

To help as many people as possible get fully vaccinated against covid, we have two large vaccination events this weekend.

  • Saturday 18th December – Chelsea Football Club – 10am-6pm
  • Sunday 19th December – Wembley Stadium – 10am-6pm

Whether you need your first dose, second dose or booster, please book your appointment now and help give covid the boot.

  • 12-15 year olds can get one vaccine and must be accompanied by an adult
  • 16-17 year olds can get their first dose and a second dose (12 weeks after the first)
  • Anyone 18 and over can get their first dose, a second dose (8 weeks after the first) and booster (3 months after the second)

It is really important that anyone who has not yet had a booster, and three months have passed since their second vaccination, comes forward. Two doses of the vaccine are not enough to offer the protection we all now need.

If you are eligible, we encourage you to book an appointment as soon as possible.  You can walk in without an appointment but if you want to guarantee a slot and reduce your waiting time then you can book here:

If you can’t make this weekend, the details of all our walk-in services, where you can have your Covid-19 vaccination be found here: https://bit.ly/NWLondonVaccine. or  head to nhs.uk where there are many more vaccination centres and pharmacies where you can book your vaccine appointment.

Are you taking your first steps into digital service design? If you need some support, sign up for a free Design Hop! The five-week course from CAST is delivered across three 1.5 hour sessions and 10-14 hours of self-study while working on your own project. The course teaches a step-by-step method for user centred digital design, helping participants tackle genuine organisational challenges. You’ll complete the course having gained a clear understanding of the design process, insights into user needs – and a ‘starter solution’ to take away. The course is suitable for ‘digital beginners’ from UK nonprofit organisations. Find out more and sign up for the January or March Design Hop sessions here.
