People Arise Now (PAN) is a charity which was formed in 2013. It is based at the Dawes Road Hub in Fulham and Sobus has worked closely to support PAN in it’s development.

The organisation works to support ex-offenders and help their family members cope with life after incarceration. It provides ex-offenders with rehabilitative support to aid community integration and cohesion, providing beneficiaries with the tools and skills needed to successfully fit back into society and prevent re-offending.

Our inspections of some companies providing online primary care have found significant concerns about patient safety. Well-run services can offer a convenient and effective form of treatment, but inspectors found services that were putting patients at risk of harm by selling medicines without doing enough to check they were appropriate. For advice click here.

This week Care Quality Commission (CQC) have published a report on the state of care in NHS acute hospitals, the report captures what we have learned from three years’ worth of inspections. It gives a baseline on quality that is unique in the world – and also shows that it is possible, even in challenging times, to deliver the transformational change that is needed if the NHS is to continue delivering high-quality care into the future.

You can find the report and more information here.
