We have two exciting and ongoing roles: Community Listeners and Dignity Champions.

Community Listeners are out and about in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and, Westminster conducting interviews and surveys to gather views, and representing Healthwatch at local events. Dignity Champions visit health and care services, such as care homes, to understand the experiences of those who are staying there and their visitors.

You can also contribute to our work in many different ways by taking an action eg writing a story for our blog, helping at a stall or distributing leaflets for an event in your local area! I AM SCS is a small UK based charity dedicated to providing rehabilitation and support for former child soldiers and victims of war. We are looking for a creative and experienced volunteer fundraising manager to help us support former child soldiers and victims of war in Northern Uganda. For further information click here.

The London Sustainability Exchange supported by Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery are starting a new project in Wandsworth designing and planting stepping stones for flying pollinators. During the initial phase of the project we are calling for anyone interested to attend a workshop to help design the plant kits that will be distributed to participating households in May.

Please register to attend one/both workshops on 10th and 11th March here. Even if you cannot attend the workshops, please register your interest to be kept up-to-date with future events in this project as it develops.

This volunteering role involves supporting a procurement process for a telemedicine in care homes service. You would be involved in evaluating tenders from organisations bidding to provide the service. Ideally we are seeking members of the public or carers with prior experience around procurement and / or end of life care services, but there is some flexibility.
