You’ll be proactive and organised in order to deliver high-quality administrative support and coordination to the One Small Thing team. This will cover the coordination and logistics planning of our training events, and administration support for our programmes and projects, including our Regional Network Meetings and our Quality Mark.  You will also provide logistical support with One Small Thing events and our national conference. You will manage and respond to day-to-day enquiries. The ideal candidate would thrive from working in a busy team and working across multiple projects and programmes of work.

You will need:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word and database

  • Experience of coordinating meetings and events

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bishop Creighton House (BCH), a Hammersmith & Fulham charity established in 1908, runs a community centre and projects for older and disabled people and families with children under five.

We are looking for a maternity cover manager to run our Older People’s Services (OPS), which comprises Homeline, a befriending project for older people, and Keep Active, which helps older people back to fitness after a fall or illness.

As well as running OPS, you will be part of the management team of BCH. You will need experience of managing staff and volunteers and ideally, of working with older people.

Carers Network is a charity that supports over 5000 unpaid carers in three central London boroughs. We are seeking an excellent candidate for the role of Carers Case Worker to join our dynamic and dedicated team.

Three out of five people become an unpaid carer at some point in their lives, looking after a family member or friend who couldn’t manage without them because of an illness, disability, mental health problem or an addiction. Most do so without help or recognition.

The successful candidate will support carers by providing a confidential listening ear and one-to-one information and advice, including carrying out carers assessments and creating individual support plans, tailored to each carer’s needs. They will also develop excellent working relationships with partner organisations, to raise awareness of carers’ rights and needs. You need to be empathetic but also be very organized, great at administration and have excellent IT skills. We are keen to attract former carers to join our team.

Our team is currently all working remotely but can also offer the opportunity to work from our COVID secure offices in a modern building near Queen’s Park tube station.
