Young Londoners preparing for higher education or vocational training can now apply for bursaries of between £1,000 and £2,000 from the Portal Trust. The scheme supports 18–25-year-olds from low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds who permanently reside in specified inner London boroughs. Awards are made according to individual need, overall demand, and the Trust’s available budget, helping to cover tuition fees, equipment, and living costs.
