For the last Westminster Community Network meeting before the summer break, we’re going to discuss that most topical of subjects: ‘What is the future of civil society? ’ Taking our cue from the Civil Society Futures independent inquiry which was recently launched at the NCVO’s annual conference and is being chaired by Julia Unwin, we will debate and discuss how the third sector can address and find solutions to the challenges facing our society and how our civil society can flourish in a fast changing world.
A key part of this inquiry is a call for evidence and Civil Society Futures has asked for contributions as to what organisations think the future holds and we will be sending them the findings from our meeting.
It promises to be a lively and informative afternoon and will be held on Thursday, 20 July from 2.30pm to 5pm at:
Stowe Centre, 258 Harrow Road, London W2 5ES
There’ll be plenty of networking too!
