In 2018 Sobus started working on a BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) Mental health project in partnership with BAME led organisations and other voluntary and community organisations who were interested in the issue. This included the Young Hammersmith & Fulham Foundation, Nubian Life, People Arise Now, Community Education Forum. The disproportionate numbers of BAME people diagnosed with mental health conditions under the care of mental health services and inadequate service provision has been a concern for decades. Read on

Sobus is a new Community Development Agency for Hammersmith & Fulham. It has been created through the merger of the Community and Voluntary Sector Association Hammersmith & Fulham (CaVSA) and the Fulham Community Partnership Trust (FCPT). Building on the strengths of both organisations, sobus aims to provide a wider range of support services for local charities, community groups, social enterprises and start up businesses.
