Smoking remains one of the leading preventable causes of ill health and early mortality, contributing to serious conditions such as heart disease, respiratory illness, cancer, and poorer mental health. It is also a key driver of health inequalities within our local communities.
This online session on 13th April 11.30am-1pm aims to raise awareness of the risks associated with smoking, highlight the benefits of quitting, and provide clear information about the free, non-judgemental support available to help people stop smoking.
During the webinar, we will cover:
- The health risks associated with smoking
- The benefits of quitting at any stage
- The support available through our local Stop Smoking & Wellbeing Service
- How individuals and professionals can access or refer into the service
- The webinar is open to members of the public, professionals, and community partners, and we would be grateful if you could share this invitation with colleagues or anyone who may benefit from attending.
