We are very excited to launch the first episode of Carers Network’s new podcast series.
You can listen to or download the episode for free here.
It is also available on Spotify here and Apple Podcasts here.
In this first episode, Carers Network’s former CEO Sally Miller talks to Councillor Tim Mitchell, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Public Health at Westminster City Council. Together they reflect on ‘Living Through Lockdown’ over the last 6 months and the response to the Coronavirus pandemic locally.
They discuss how unpaid carers have been affected by the pandemic and the possible future challenges that will be faced.
Guests confirmed for future episodes include esteemed NHS commentator Roy Lilley, Andy Slaughter MP – Member of Parliament for Hammersmith, Karen Buck MP – Member of Parliament for Westminster North, and Sharon Hammond – Working For Carers project leader.
The series is produced thanks to the very generous support of A2 Dominion Investing in Communities’ Great Places to Live Community Emergency Fund to whom we’d like to extend our gratitude. We hope you enjoy the podcast series!
