London Funders – The London Community Response Fund

The London Community Response to the COVID-19 pandemic is coordinated by London Funders, the membership network for funders and investors of London’s civil society. There are three types of grants available in the new wave of funding announced on 1 July 2020:

  • Crisis grants are for organisations that need to provide food, essentials and support as a matter of urgency to communities in crisis;
  • Enable grants support work that helps to prevent difficulties arising from the crisis escalating, and that enables people to emerge from the crisis; and
  • Adapt grants help organisations to restart, adapt or collaborate for the future.

The application process is open to all civil society organisations across the capital. You can apply for funding under this wave even if you have previously received funding under wave one (food and essentials) or wave 2 (crisis response or delivering differently). To find out more and start an application, click here.

Comic Relief Announces Change Makers Programme (UK)

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, Comic Relief is launching a new funding programme to support changes in the way which community and voluntary sector organisations work. Funding of between £150,000 and £600,000 will be available for projects lasting up to 3 to 5 years. The focus will be on work in areas that are of particular interest to Comic Relief. This includes addressing homelessness, forced migration, gender justice, mental health, and early childhood development. Organisations will be able to apply in one of two categories. Grants for small and medium-sized organisations that focus on equalities and are user-led; and grants for medium-sized organisations. 20% of the available funding is ring-fenced for efforts led by and working with BAME communities. The fund will open for applications on the 13th July 2020 and close at 12pm on the 28th August 2020. Click here

Could Your Charity Benefit from Gallery Partnership’s Expertise?

We are all relying on technology more than ever before and Sobus would highly recommend our  I/T support team at Gallery Partnership. They have now launched a Client Referral Programme and taken on two new partners, specialising in business communication and Cyber Security – enabling them to increase the amount of remote working solutions they can offer.

Anyone we refer to them will be offered a FREE, no-obligation consultation during which they will:

  • Discuss their current requirements/challenges
  • Identify solutions and recommended products
  • Provide a written proposal & dedicated point of contact

To use the Client Referral you can either:

  1.  Call their office on 0207 096 2800 and inform them that you have been referred by Sobus
  2.  Email info@thegallerypartnership.co.uk directly with “REFERRAL from ‘Carita Magnani at Sobus” in the subject line
  3.  Submit your details via their website contact form using the drop down tick box
