Hammersmith & Fulham Council is looking at how we can work better with local organisations to plan for emergency situations in the borough. So we’re organising our first ever ‘Emergency Response Hackathon’.

When: Tuesday 19 September, 5.30-9.00pm
Where: Assembly Hall, Hammersmith Town Hall, King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 9JU

This ‘hackathon’ will be an evening of discussion and activities about the roles local groups can play in an emergency event. It will cover everything from co-ordinating volunteers, sorting and distributing donations and providing storage space, to helping with bereavement support or counselling services. We want to make sure that, in an emergency, we can all feel like we know what we can do to help, who to get in touch with, when, and how.
Come to our event and join us in creating a new era of collaborative working across Hammersmith & Fulham. Places at the event are limited. Please RSVP to internal.communications@lbhf.gov.uk by Friday 8 September.
