The Agents of Change Team would love to invite you to join us to celebrate the past, present and future of the Agents of Change programme!

We’ve had the privilege of seeing four amazing cohorts of women graduate from the Agents of Change Women’s Leadership Programme since it began in 2018. This year the Agents of Change team has taken the time to listen to your feedback about the programme and we deeply appreciate all of the Agents who took part in our feedback sessions and interviews. We are incredibly grateful for the personal journeys we’ve been part of, and we would love to share with you some highlights about what we’ve learned and how it will impact the future of the programme

Please join us for an evening of storytelling, celebration and networking. You can register for free using the Eventbrite link here, or by emailing agentsofchange@imperial.ac.uk.

The evening will also feature more information about a new collaboration between Agents of Change and Westfield. The Westfield Workshop Skills Sessions have been created exclusively for members of the Agents of Change Network. Running throughout October, you’ll have the opportunity to attend workshops designed to develop the skills you need to tackle social media, marketing pitches, negotiation and standing out in your job search. Spaces are limited for each workshop, and you can register for free using the links below:

TopUp Education LTD is a small local tuition company in LBHF founded and run by two working qualified teachers.  We, Zainab and Michelle, run affordable and accessible Saturday morning supplementary classes for ages 7-16, in English and Maths, at Fulham Boys School. Our focus is offering lessons to disadvantaged students across LBHF and triborough.  We passionately believe that education is the key to social mobility and that all students, with the right support and guidance, can achieve academic success.

All our lessons are planned and delivered by qualified teachers and mapped to the National Curriculum. We make sure that everyone who supports us at TopUp Education is equally passionate about education and we all care and work incredibly hard to deliver great lessons for all our students. We work on developing our student’s confidence and resilience and we aim to build independent learners who develop a self-belief in their own academic ability. TopUp have a wealth of parent testimonials, which prove that students who attend classes make outstanding progress, with a 100% success rate at improving GCSE grades. We want to reach as many students as possible and improve the lives and education of young people.

We would welcome opportunities to discuss TopUp Education with any potential sponsors or local companies who would be willing to help us achieve our aim of securing academic success for all children irrespective of social class, gender, race, or learning need.

We also offer volunteering opportunities for young people and adults who would like to support young people. All staff who volunteer with us need a current enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for a check.

The Kiln have allocated £10 tickets for Peanut Butter & Blueberries, a love story between two practicing Muslims who like being Muslim.

A love story unlike any you’ve seen before:

Hafsah and Bilal are not looking for love. She has her faith, her books, her dreams. Bilal…well he’s just trying to get through uni. Studying in London, far from their hometowns of Bradford and Birmingham, they find common ground over a peanut butter and blueberry sandwich. Just as their connection is growing, the past and social realities become harder to ignore. Between opportunities, obligations and injustices, will they be able to choose each other?  In her debut play, Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan explores how to love when the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

The £10 tickets are for performances on the following dates: Thu 8, Fri 9, Sat 10, Mon 12 & Tue 13 August at 7pm.

You can also get £15 tickets for all performances dates: Wed 15 to Sat 31 August.
