Funding overview

  • The King’s Coronation Youth Fund offers up to £800,000 in grants to support cultural and sporting activities for young people aged 0–25 across Hammersmith & Fulham.
  • Organisations can apply for grants between £10,000 and £50,000, with most awards expected to be at the lower end of the scale.
  • Cultural projects will have one funding round, for which the closing date is 16 June 2025. Sports projects will have two funding rounds, for which the first round closing date is 23 June 2025.
  • Cultural projects must include a public-facing element taking place between March and September 2026.
  • Applications are open to not-for-profit organisations based in the borough.
  • Organisations must have a year’s track record, appropriate governance, safeguarding and insurance in place.
  • At least 10% of the total project cost must come from other sources, with a minimum of half provided in cash.
  • Projects should be co-designed with local residents and offer clear progression routes for young people to develop their interests or skills.
  • All activities must be delivered by suitably qualified professionals.
  • Cultural projects must be artist-led.
  • Sport projects must be led by local clubs with strong community links.
  • Projects should include formal recognition of achievement for participants, such as Arts Awards, Sports Awards, or digital badges.

Members of Parliament have expressed concerns in the House of Commons regarding the commission charged by online fundraising platforms on gift aid. Labour and Conservative MPs highlighted their worries following research by advisory firm Strand Partners, which revealed that charities lost over £7.5 million last year due to the commission these platforms charge for processing gift aid claims on behalf of charities. Join us for our annual celebration of the National Co-production Week, hosted by Co-production Matters H&F. This event brings together Disabled residents, council officers, councillors, and community organisations who are working collaboratively to transform local services.

This year’s theme is “Co-production and Independent Living”

In our event, we will explore how we can build the council’s vision for independent living into current and future co-production work, all underpinned by the Social Model of Disability which focuses on removing the barriers for Disabled residents, working towards greater choice, control, and inclusion.

Until this year, there have been no additional leave provisions for working parents with babies in neonatal care meaning many parents had been forced to use maternity, paternity, or adoption leave, take holiday or unpaid leave, or even quit their jobs or return to work whilst their baby remained in neonatal care. 

From 6 April 2025, this changed with the implementation of new statutory entitlements which are expected to benefit around 60,000 new parents. With the introduction of the Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023 and accompanying Regulations, the government has introduced a day-one statutory right to neonatal care leave and pay.
