We now have a date in place for our next meeting – Wednesday 8th November at 11am in Hammersmith Town Hall, Committee Room 1 (2nd Floor). The primary subject of this meeting will be Hammersmith and Fulham’s forthcoming bid in the London Borough of Culture Competition.
This new competition invites all of the 32 London boroughs to apply for funding to lead a game changing cultural programme. Two winning boroughs will be named London Borough of Culture, one in 2019 and one in 2020 and up to six other boroughs will receive support to deliver bespoke cultural projects.
The meeting will be hosted by Jon Gilchrist who is leading Hammersmith and Fulham’s bid and will be joined by Donna Pentelow, Head of Culture. An agenda will be circulated nearer the time detailing some of our plans for the bid and how members of the network can get involved.
