Post: Big Local Manager
Salary: £36,183
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 3 years
Wormholt and White City Big Local is one of 150 Big Local areas, funded over 10 years to achieve lasting change in their community. Two years in, our Big Local is at an exciting point in its development and needs a dynamic, people friendly project manager to take us into the next phase. Key to success is someone who can work with our network of local volunteers to unlock the energy and creativity of local residents; make strategic partnerships with other local stakeholders including the statutory, private and voluntary sectors; support our established resident led partnership board to lead the programme and facilitate a visionary sustainability strategy which will leave a lasting legacy. Match funded by a local charity, we still have £1.6 million of our original £2 million to spend so opportunity abounds but we have the clarity of a plan and the stability of your established team of two staff.
