The Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland have announced that the Social Entrepreneurs Programme has re-opened for applications. Grants of between £1,000 and £7,000 are available to help individuals with an interest in helping people or improving the environment develop the skills, strengths and networks necessary to start up and grow social enterprises, charities, and community projects. People with all abilities and from all backgrounds across the UK are invited to apply for the programme including those working in deprived areas, people of colour and from minoritised ethnic backgrounds, and people with disabilities. The programme is run in partnership with the School for Social Entrepreneurs, and jointly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. It has been created through the merger of the Community and Voluntary Sector Association Hammersmith & Fulham (CaVSA) and the Fulham Community Partnership Trust (FCPT).
