Arts Council England have reopened their Developing Your Creative Practice Fund to help individual cultural and creative practitioners explore new ways of working and to better respond to the changing environment as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Grants of between £2,000 and £10,000 are available to help individuals with their own creative development which could include research, time to create new work, travel, training, developing ideas, networking or mentoring. Eligibility has been expanded to include practitioners such as DJs, performer/creators, arts and cultural educators, community practitioners/engagement specialists, movement directors, and creative technicians. Sobus is a new Community Development Agency for Hammersmith & Fulham. It has been created through the merger of the Community and Voluntary Sector Association Hammersmith & Fulham (CaVSA) and the Fulham Community Partnership Trust (FCPT). Building on the strengths of both organisations, sobus aims to provide a wider range of support services for local charities, community groups, social enterprises and start up businesses.
