Grants of up to £5,000 are available for small one-off projects lasting up to one year that promote the life-chances of children and young people through education and family support. State schools; Independent schools with charitable status; Local authorities; Exempt and Registered charities and national organisations with a track record and reputation of working to benefit children and young people can apply. The work must be carried out in one of the John Lyon’s Charity’s nine boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, City of London. Sobus is a new Community Development Agency for Hammersmith & Fulham. It has been created through the merger of the Community and Voluntary Sector Association Hammersmith & Fulham (CaVSA) and the Fulham Community Partnership Trust (FCPT).
