Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in West London. We work within a coordinated partnership response to domestic violence to provide independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people and women’s community services for women who are involved in the criminal justice system, in anti-social behaviour or are at risk of breaking the law.

Salary: starting at £36,000 per annum inc. London Weighting

Programme Manager – Brent

The Programme Manager will oversee and manage an exciting domestic abuse project composed of IDVAs, domestic abuse workers, and a MARAC Coordinator. The project aims to support survivors at high and medium risk in a variety of co- location settings. The post holder will be an experienced manager with a proven track record of leadership in providing services to women experiencing violence against women and girls (VAWG) and working with partners and funders. The post holder will be co-located in Brent with the Advance Brent workers at social services office and the police station, and will work to improve partnership responses to domestic abuse. The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children, of children’s social care and care proceedings, and of the criminal justice system. The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with relevant partners and funders, and will represent the organisation at meetings including presentations and support the development of strategic plans to ensure the sustainability, development and delivery of Advance services. The post holder will have experience of contract compliance and ensuring that their team adheres to quality systems, quality of service and safeguarding standards.
