We live in a rapidly changing world with digital technologies influencing the way we shop, travel and communicate with our loved ones. Often, we lose sight of the fact that there are still a lot of older people who are digitally excluded. Too often this can cause older people to miss out on services and financial benefits they are entitled to.

Therefore, at Fulham Good Neighbours we are running the second year of our Digital Inclusion project. By matching volunteers with local older people who wish to learn how to use laptops, smartphones and the Internet, we aim to tackle isolation in our local community.  If you know someone who could benefit from a friendly meeting and one-to-one lessons on how to use the Internet, please contact us at info@fulhamgoodneighbours.org or call 020 7385 8850.

We are also looking for more volunteers who could spare a couple of hours a month to support an older person. If this could be you or someone you know, please visit our website www.fulhamgoodneighbours.org and contact us for more details.
