Community Fundraising Manager Becky Coleman will talk through how your volunteers, staff and supporters can use the easyfundraising platform to raise donations for your organisation when they shop with thousands of leading retailers. The grant programme is to support projects in the voluntary and community sector addressing health and mental wellbeing of residents in LB Hammersmith & Fulham.

- operate within Hammersmith & Fulham
- be a micro-businesses (less than 20 employees).
- not have an existing website
- be a start up, a limited company or registered on Companies House

Startup School for Seniors is a free eight week eLearning course for people over 50, starting 14th January, who are looking to start their own business.
This course is for you if:
- You have a passion or idea you’d like to turn into a business
- Have been made redundant or are currently unemployed and considering your next step
- You want to gain the skills necessary to get a new business off the ground
- You would benefit from the support of others
Run by social enterprise, Advantages of Age, the course is delivered online by entrepreneur Suzanne Noble and business coach Mark Elliott who create a fun, interactive, learning experience and support you to progress week by week. Fully funded, the course is free for residents of Hammersmith & Fulham, unemployed or economically inactive.

November is certainly a notable month – with the beginning of the month starting Bonfire Night on the 5th November, where we celebrated a foiled attempt by Guy Fawkes and his associates to blow up the Houses of Parliament, and Diwali, observed by more than a billion people across the world.
Diwali, also known as the festival of lights brings prayer, feasts, fireworks and, for some, a new year. The end of Diwali in 2021 coincides with Bonfire Night – so no doubt the skies over London during the first weekend in November lit up!
Thursday 25 November is Carers Rights Day. This is the national awareness day to help ensure unpaid carers know their rights and are able to access support that is available to them as soon as they need it. Please join us on the day from 10am-11am at an online event for professionals to learn about Carers’ Rights. The event will be hosted by Carers Network’s Chief Executive Sally Prentice. There will be a talk by Sandie Roberts, Carers Network’s Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea Services Manager and Paula Linan, Carers Network’s Hammersmith and Fulham Services Manager. You will be able to learn about the rights unpaid carers are entitled to and find out how Carers Network can support any of your clients who may be carers themselves.
