Virtual Careers Fair

This is a Hounslow based partnership, in which all Secondary Schools in the borough are uniting with Spark! and other key partners, to host it’s first ever Virtual Careers Fair. This will be held on the 3rd March, to coincide with National Careers Week, and we are looking for as many employers as possible to take part.

The careers fair will be a chance for employers to engage with an entire borough of students, who over the past year have missed out on so many vital employability opportunities. Employers can take part simply by sharing resources, or recording a short video, hosting a Q&A session, or even giving a live address. Whatever time you can give will be very appreciated. Thank you very much to all who have already expressed an initial interest in participating, if you have yet to do so please complete this short form.

You’re not making any commitment at this stage, simply expressing an openness to take part. At the same time we are asking employers if they are able to consider taking on work experience placements during 2021. Not only is this an opportunity to help students understand employment opportunities and career pathways in your sector, but you’ll also be part of an interesting and innovative experience.

Coronavirus National Lockdown – Keep up with the Rules to Keep Cases Down

With a national lockdown in place, restrictions on many businesses remain largely the same as under Tier 4, with many forced to close their premises or restrict operation. In particular, those providing non-essential goods and services in retail, hospitality and leisure. The Fore’s Spring 2021 Funding Round Opens 7th January

We are offering UK-based small charities and CICs up to £30,000 in unrestricted grant funding to help unlock their potential. We are particularly keen to fund organisations working with marginalised groups that have found it difficult to access grant funding in the past.

This is to ensure your Mandatory and Statutory requirements are met so you can continue delivering essential healthcare services throughout this pandemic. As a key nationwide classroom training provider of Mandatory and Vaccination training, our services are critical to national infrastructure.

Venues
The vast majority of our training venues will remain open, if there is any change to your individual course we will contact you directly. Please keep your booking confirmation with you at all times as validation for your reason to travel to your course.

A Word on Vaccination Training
Millions of COVID-19 vaccination doses are being made available but there is a nationwide shortage of trained vaccinators to meet quoted delivery targets. We are back to offering select&collect and essential computer use only in the three library branches open at the moment – Chelsea, Kensington Central and North Kensington libraries.

But our online library of books, newspapers, magazines, comics, audiobooks, dictionaries, language-learning platform and more is available to you at all times, remotely, with just your library card.

We are continuing to provide a full programme of online events too!
