NHS Scotland figures showed that in 2016 4,222 patients started treatment from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) over the period. Of these, 101 had waited 53 weeks or more for their specialist help.. (BBC, 7.3.17). Although the government has pledegd an additional £1.4 Billion for CAMHS there is still an Increasing waiting time, we need to act upon this urgently.
