Please tell us about your charity’s experience by completing this quarter’s survey –  if you take part you’ll have the opportunity to enter the annual £4,000, £1,000 or £500 prize draws! To be in with a chance of winning, have your charity’s CEO, Trustee or most senior staff member complete the survey.

To ensure you are eligible to take part and understand the conditions of the prize draw, click here. You can take the survey here.

This week Care Quality Commission (CQC) have published a report on the state of care in NHS acute hospitals, the report captures what we have learned from three years’ worth of inspections. It gives a baseline on quality that is unique in the world – and also shows that it is possible, even in challenging times, to deliver the transformational change that is needed if the NHS is to continue delivering high-quality care into the future.

You can find the report and more information here.

We have two exciting and ongoing roles: Community Listeners and Dignity Champions.

Community Listeners are out and about in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and, Westminster conducting interviews and surveys to gather views, and representing Healthwatch at local events. You can also contribute to our work in many different ways by taking an action eg writing a story for our blog, helping at a stall or distributing leaflets for an event in your local area! If you would like to get involved, please get in touch with Eva at Eva.Psychrani@healthwatchcentralwestlondon.org
