Crafternoons is a safe space for you to explore the topics of mental and physical wellbeing whilst getting your creative juices flowing and picking up some crafting skills.

In our first Crafternoon session of 2021 you will learn how to make a face mask and our guest speaker will share their life experience and a word on building your resilience.

Our Crafternoons are designed for complete novices but improvers and those with advanced crafting skills are guaranteed to have fun too.

We will have two Friday sessions in April–chose the time that works best for you:

The Ubele’s Young Emerging Leaders Collective is bringing you a jam packed online festival with practical workshops, talks and panel events exploring pertinent issues and experiences faced by Black and Minortised Women.

The Gas Safe Charity is offering a free, on-line Zoom workshop aimed at front line staff and volunteers who visit or work in the homes of vulnerable people. The workshop lasts about an hour and explains the sources, signs and symptoms of high and low level carbon monoxide risks in the home and includes relevant scenarios to explain what steps to take if carbon monoxide poisoning is suspected. Local Safeguarding Children Partnership have planned a workshop for community organisations staff about how to refer to children’s services in the three boroughs, discuss concerns with social workers and share them with families.

The aim is for the workshop to be as interactive as possible and be an opportunity for children’s services staff across the three boroughs to meet some of the practitioners referring to them.

It takes place on Friday 5th February 2021 9.30am – 11.30am
