Community Programme Coordinator – DanceWest is seeking an enthusiastic and committed coordinator to support the delivery of our programmes for West London communities. Supported by the WestWay Trust this entry-level post is open to people aged 21-30 years living or working in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster or Brent.

Salary: Freelance rate of £120 per day.
Hours of work: Based on two days per week.
Length of contract: January to April 2018/ April to July 2018.
Office base: DanceWest, Lyric Hammersmith, King Street W6 0QL.  The role will require some travel to other sites and venues throughout West London.
Responsible to: Artistic Director.
Key Relationships (External): Public, arts organisations, companies, funders, participants, technicians and collaborators.
Purpose of the post : To coordinate and support the delivery of community dance programmes in West London.

The WILDE Foundation is looking for a Volunteer. And this would be a tremendous opportunity for someone to enhance their skill set and engage is something totally inspiring.

The WILDE Foundation was established for the training and personal coaching of vulnerable women and girls in the UK, Caribbean and Africa. With a strong focus on work in London and the UK, our mission is to educate women and girls globally to embrace economic empowerment through creativity. We know from our experience and research that women who are in charge of their own finances tend not to linger in abusive relationships. The volunteer role would be in Marketing and Social Networking.

The regular tasks are:

  • To compile monthly e-Newsletter using MailChimp;
  • Regular postings on 3 twitter accounts, WILDETalk, Protect the Girl Child Campaign and WILDE Int.
  • Network;
  • Have an input/share ideas about the contents on the WILDE website;
  • Assist with planning creative &empowerment events

We would like a volunteer who has their own laptop/tablet as they will work from home, be savvy using MailChimp and Powerpoint, and attend monthly meetings when requested. About Fulham Good Neighbours: Established in 1966 Fulham Good Neighbours support mainly older people, including those with dementia, with practical tasks at home such as basic DIY, gardening, and decorating. We do what any good neighbour would: collect medication, escort to appointments, accompany shopping and take care of pets to name just a few of our free services delivered by over 50 volunteers. We also run a dedicated befriending scheme and a range of social clubs to help beat isolation and loneliness. We also offer our hall to other local small groups supporting older people for regular or one-off meetings.

In 2016 we were declared the Best Charity in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham; in 2017 we achieved the London Healthy Workplace Award.

 About the post of Fulham Sunday Afternoon Tea Co-ordinator: This new post will provide all organisational and operational support to the Fulham Sunday Afternoon Tea. The post holder will run the club every first and third Sunday of the month and ensure the success of the club, including the welfare of older people and volunteers attending it. The post holder will ensure that the event caters to older housebound people not taking part in other activities during the week.

Calm Mediation is a registered charity which has been providing a restorative justice (RJ) service to victims and offenders since 2005 with the support of the Big Lottery. We achieved the Restorative Service Quality Mark in 2016, and provide accredited practitioner training.

We are seeking a dynamic, resourceful Restorative Service Coordinator to continue to build on this reputation for excellence, working with a variety of organisations in the criminal justice sector.

Post: Restorative Service Coordinator, 22 hours per week (37 FTE). (With potential for this role to expand to additional days)
Pay: £16,054-£17,8387 according to experience (£27-30,000 FTE).
