Local children’s groups and organisations such as playgroups and sports classes providing services to support disadvantaged and disabled children can apply for grants of up to £2,000. The funding is being made available through the Little Lives UK Children’s Community Support Programme. There is no minimum grant that groups can apply for, and Little Lives UK will additionally support the work of successful applicants through their social media channels and on our website. The Volant Trust has still accepting applications through its Covid-19 Response Fund. The Trust is accepting applications from registered charities, community interest companies, community organisations or social enterprises in the UK and internationally that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. UK registered charities, or those affiliated with a registered charity working to help those at disadvantage in society can apply to the Leeds Building Society Charitable Foundation for support. Grants of between £250 – £1,000 are available to cover the costs involved in directly supporting those in need including those with disabilities, affected by homelessness, or with serious health issues. Previous grants have gone to organisations supporting young people in applying for jobs and towards the purchase of a portable multi-sensory environment, that will turn any room into a sensory room. The Foundation accepts applications from UK registered charities with a turnover of less than £1 million per year. Applications are reviewed every quarter. Grant and learning support for Black and Minoritised charities and social enterprises looking to become more enterprising

Support from the Enterprise Development Programme enables organisations to grow financial resilience and impact by providing a mixture of grant and learning support to help get enterprise ideas off the ground.
If accepted onto the programme, participating organisations will work collaboratively with The Ubele Initiative throughout the programme journey to best identify support needs (both learning and grants).

The Arnold Clark Community Fund, launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, is offering grants of up to £1,000 to UK-registered charities and local community groups. Applications will also be accepted from community interest companies, charitable incorporated organisations and social enterprises. To be eligible, the organisation’s primary focus must be on people and communities in the UK and the funding must also provide immediate relief. The Ofgem Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme has opened the first funding round in phase two of the scheme. A total of £27 million is available as grants to charities and community energy groups that support households most at risk from cold homes and high energy bills across England, Scotland and Wales. Projects should also focus on enabling a just transition to national net zero carbon emissions targets and reducing the impact of climate change associated with energy consumption. The scheme is funded by distributing payments from energy companies who may have breached Ofgem rules. The deadline for applications is 5.00pm on Monday 6 June 2022. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to local charities and not for profit organisations for projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for of those in need in the UK. The funding is being made available through the Screwfix Foundations and the grants are available for all kinds of projects, from repairing buildings and improving facilities in deprived areas, to decorating the homes of people living with sickness and disabilities. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to registered charities to support projects that equip people ( 18 or older in order) from disadvantaged groups with critical life skills necessary for employment. Priority will be given to projects that target people experiencing multiple deprivation or other groups facing major hurdles to employment, especially; women, people with physical, mental, or learning disabilities, refugees and asylum seekers. The funding is being made available through the Thomas Wall Trust. and the deadline for stage 1 applications is the 19th September 2022.
