STADV coordinates the ground breaking coordinated community response to domestic violence in West London. STADV are co-founders, alongside Peabody and Gentoo, in DAHA which was founded in 2014 to promote better practice, policy and research in relation to housing and domestic abuse.

As a partner in the award winning Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA), Standing Together Against Domestic Violence (STADV) seek to appoint the following positions:

National DAHA Development Manager
This post will implement the business development plan for DAHA across the UK and will drive forward this ground-breaking national initiative.

You should have an understanding of partnership working in a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary setting and knowledge of housing issues in relation to domestic abuse and barriers around access to housing services.

DAHA Accreditation & Events Project Officer
This role requires an  experienced Project Officer to support the Housing Project Team in effectively coordinating the monitoring and evaluation of the ‘Whole Housing’ Approach Project and supporting the development of a toolkit.

You should have strong administration and communication skills and an understanding of housing issues in relation to domestic abuse and barriers around access to housing services. This post will support a dispersed project team to ensure the effective development and coordination of a ‘Whole Housing’ approach project across three delivery sites including the Tri-boroughs of London (Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham), seven District and City Councils from Cambridgeshire and a northern site yet to be confirmed.

Founded in 2011, Key4Life is a youth rehabilitation programme working with young men, aged 18-30 years old in prison or at risk of going to prison to reduce re-offending and support participants into sustainable and meaningful employment. Key4Life offers two programmes, following the same model,
detailed below:

  1. A 6-month preventative community-based programme, with at-risk young males who are NEET, to divert them away from offending and onto a positive path to employment.
  2. A 12-month ‘through the gate’ programme to participants

Made of Money is an award winning project that helps people on low income talk about money and its impact on their lives. It is designed to improve people’s confidence, communication and control around money through interactive activities, discussions and resources.

We offer hands-on training to help you use our resources with your clients or local community. In this engaging training; you will learn from experienced facilitators on the best way to deliver financial education workshops and one-to-ones.

This is NOT a training for you to become a money/debt adviser. The training will give you the tools and skills to start conversations about money and ways to support your beneficiaries through specialist referrals.
