Grants of up to £40,000 Available to Organisations Led by and for Black & Minoritised Women & Girls (UK)

Two-year grants of up to £40,000 are available to specialised organisations in the UK that are led by and for Black and minoritised women and girls. The funding is for organisational development work relating to areas such as strategy, governance, leadership, alliances and partnerships, funding, demonstrating impact and systems and processes and is available to organisations that have been established for three years or more, and which have an average income of less than £100,000 per year. The funding is being made available through the ROSA Rise Fund and the deadline for applications is 5.00pm on the 10th January 2022.  Grants will be paid in July 2022 and will last for 2 years. Funding for Charities Working with Older People (UK)

Grants of between £15,000 and £75,000 are available to charitable organisations which provide care and services for older people, particularly if they have a neurodegenerative condition or are isolated. The Wolfson Foundation will provide funding for new build, refurbishment or equipment projects which aim to provide increased access to services for new and existing users, improve the quality and range of services, and improve the financial stability of the organisation. Match funding is required for projects costing more than £50,000. There is a 2-stage application process and the next stage 1 closing date is the 5th January 2022. Warm Homes Fund Re-Opens to Applications (England, Wales & Scotland)

National Grid and Affordable Warmth Solutions have announced that the latest round of the Warm Homes Fund is now open to applications. The fund incentivises the installation of affordable heating solutions in fuel poor households with the aim of reducing bills, increasing comfort in non-gas fuel poor households, and improving health outcomes. This round is accepting bids from local authorities and registered social landlords working with other local partners across England, Wales and Scotland for low carbon first time central heating solutions, or energy efficiency and health related solutions. The National Lottery Community Fund

The National Lottery Community Fund re-opens for applications on Thursday 25th November 2021. They are offering grants of up to £100,000 to help social enterprises rebuild from COVID-19. This fund is established in partnership by The National Lottery Community Fund and five social enterprise support agencies. To be eligible, your social enterprise must have been incorporated for at least a year and most of your beneficiaries should be in England. In addition, your annual income must have been between £20,000 and £1.8 million pre-COVID-19 or in your last financial year. The main aim of the fund is to reach the most marginalised communities and to promote inclusion. The fund aims to support social enterprises that are helping communities affected by COVID-19 to recover, and to help social enterprises themselves to recover and rebuild their trading. Bupa Foundations Mental Health Sustainability Fund

Bupa Foundations Mental Health Sustainability Fund is offering grants of up to £5,000 to support organisations that have a helpline element. This refers to a service providing non-face-to-face advice, support and information via phone, email, text, SMS or online. In addition, organisations must have annual revenue of no mere than £250,000 in the last full year accounts to be eligible. The goal of the grant is to help charities with their sustainability at this stage in England’s pandemic response. Applicants must detail their helpline provisions and how they intend to support those with health inequalities exacerbated by Covid-19; such as minoritised communities (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic communities), LGBT+, children and young people, older people, new mothers, and those in contact with the criminal justice system etc. The Bupa Foundations will be accepting applications via their online application form. Small Charities Challenge Fund

Small Charities Challenge Fund is offering grants of up to £50,000 for 2 years to UK-registered organisations with an annual income of £250,000 or less that are working towards improving the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalised. They are currently prioritising applications that are addressing the long-term impacts of COVID-19. Applications must demonstrate how exactly they’ll achieve this. Financial Support for Social Enterprises Impacted by Covid-19 (England)

The National Lottery Community Fund has re-opened its Social Enterprise Support Fund to support social enterprises across England impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The fund, delivered in partnership with five social enterprise support agencies, will award grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 to help organisations rebuild and grow their income from trading, and help them to continue to support people facing increased social and economic challenges as a result of the crisis. The fund particularly welcomes applications from groups led by people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, disabled people, LGBTQIA+ communities, and leaders with lived experience. Ecclesiastical Invites Charity Nominations for Prize Draw (UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man)

Ecclesiastical Insurance will be making a total of £120,000 in donations during twelve days in December to charities, not-for-profit organisations, or community interest companies to help them continue to deliver their vital work. Anyone can nominate an organisation in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man to be awarded £1,000 from the prize draw called “12 days of giving”. Ten winners will be drawn at random each weekday from the 6th December to the 21st December 2021. Charities can be nominated any number of times but can only win one prize. Nominations will remain open until midnight the day before each draw. Funding is made available as part of the Movement for Good. Screwfix Foundation (UK)

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to local charities and not for profit organisations for projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for of those in need in the UK. The funding is being made available through the Screwfix Foundations and the grants are available for all kinds of projects, from repairing buildings and improving facilities in deprived areas, to decorating the homes of people living with sickness and disabilities.
