The Community Development Worker will lead on community engagement and consultation and develop new partnerships that meet community priorities. S/he will ensure residents are involved in decision making at the Old Oak centre, grow peer support networks for residents and capacity build local community groups, including the awarding of Micro Grants, so that they can develop their own initiatives and projects. S/he will also take a lead on outreach and communications for the estate, ensuring all residents are informed of activities and events which are of interest and benefit to them.
