Sobus opened our second hub on Freston Road offering affordable office space and meeting rooms to charities and businesses.

Sobus secures funding from LBHF and John Lyons Foundation for the establishment of the Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation. This followed the facilitation of the Youth Partnership Report funded by LBHF.
January 2016
Sobus launches a £100,000 Health and Wellbeing grant programme for the VCS working in H&F. The programme was developed with and funded by H&F CCG. The programme was so successful H&F CCG funded a second round which opened for applications in April 2017.

Sobus Board of Trustees approved our five year strategy to focus on four main areas of development; Brokerage, Information and Intelligence, Capacity Building and Premises.

CaVSA and FCPT merge to create sobus

CaVSA and FCPT Trustees begin discussion on combining forces to create a new organisation with the ambition and resources needed to support transformation of the local community and voluntary sector across Hammersmith & Fulham.

FCPT launches the Dawes Road Hub. CaVSA moves in as the first and main anchor ‘tenant’ of the Hub.

The North Fulham NDC programme comes to an end and FCPT purchases the old St Saviour’s School site on 20 Dawes Road to convert it into badly needed community office space and affordable housing.
September 2010
North Fulham NDC set up the Fulham Community Partnership Trust (FCPT) to champion civic engagement and keep the legacy of the New Deal for Communities alive.

CaVSA and North Fulham NDC work together to deliver a successful Voluntary Sector Apprenticeship project

VSRA changes its name to CaVSA (the Community and Voluntary Sector Association Hammersmith & Fulham) and moves to new offices opposite Hammersmith & Fulham Town Hall in King Street, Hammersmith.
2000
North Fulham NDC is launched as one of 39 New Deal for Community projects that aimed to regenerate the most deprived neighbourhoods in the country.
1997
Voluntary Sector Resource Agency (VSRA) is established as the local Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) in Hammersmith & Fulham, to provide developmental support alongside networking and representation opportunities for local community and voluntary sector organisations.
