Statisticians for Society (S4S) connects professional statisticians with charitable organisations, offering expert support at no cost. Launched in 2017, the scheme has now successfully linked statisticians with over 200 charities, helping them achieve their objectives and make data-driven decisions.
Many third-sector organisations recognise the value of data but often lack the resources to access expert support. Our volunteer experts provide charities with the tools and guidance needed to analyse data, measure impact, and improve services. Whether it’s designing surveys, evaluating programmes, or generating statistical insights, our projects helps organisations make informed decisions and demonstrate their value.
