Every 3rd Saturday of the month at 2.30pm we will release an online session with fun, hands-on, creative maths activities for families to follow. In our first monthly Maths on Toast Stay-In video session we’ll be showing how to make your own pair of ‘maths glasses’ and exploring the idea to help us see the maths all around us in our everyday lives!
Join us for our first family maths stay-in session at 2.30pm on Saturday 19th September. It will go ‘live’ at 2.30pm on our website, YouTube channel and Facebook page: https://www.mathsontoast.org.uk/stay-in-sessions/ Maths on Toast staff will be on hand via our Facebook page to answer any questions as you are watching – find us on social media @mathsontoast. Don’t worry if you’re not able to watch along during the live session – the videos will remain up on our website and Facebook page so you can watch them at a later time or date that suits you. Families can check our webpage in advance, for any accompanying PDFs or suggested resources to help with the activity.
Look out for further Maths on Toast Stay-In Sessions on Saturdays 17th October, 21st November and Saturday tbc in December. We always love to hear how you’ve got on, so don’t forget to share your creations or comments on social media tagging @mathsontoast or email info@mathsontoast.org.uk
