Are you a Counsellor, Therapist, Community Worker or someone who works with or supports people from Black and racially minoritised communities experiencing grief, bereavement, and loss?
Join us for our series of Immersive Bereavement workshops and acquire a greater understanding of diversity in the context of grief, loss and bereavement.
This series of workshops will take place in religious institutions/cultural spaces of relevant communities. Each session will include an address from an appropriate person from said community to share their knowledge on end of life and grief as it is practiced in that community as well as other methods of immersive and experiential learning.
We hope that participants on the training will be upskilled with a focus on providing interventions that are culturally relevant as it is based on an immersive sharing, questioning, and learning approach.
To adhere to social distancing guidelines, we are keeping attendees to a small group of no more than 15.
Each session will be an immersive in-person session using creative activities and engagement over a period of 4 hours 30 mins long from 10.00 am to 2.30 pm (with a lunch break).
Hosted by The Ubele Initiative, Majonzi Fund and Thrive London.
