Grants of between £200 and £500 are available to peer support, mutual aid or self-help groups in England and Wales for activities which benefit people or communities who live with mental ill-health, trauma and distress. The funding is being made available through the National Survivor User Network’s Side by Side Fund and can be used to help community member-led groups to connect remotely, prepare to move their activities to face-to-face, or make their group more sustainable. Applications are particularly encouraged from groups led by and for people from racialised communities/people of colour, young people aged 18 to 25 years, and groups who have been unable to meet during the coronavirus pandemic.
