The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. We register, monitor and inspect services to make sure they provide safe, effective, compassionate, high quality care, and we encourage them to improve.

There are an estimated six million carers across England. To ensure that carers have more of a voice, CQC is running a campaign to encourage more carers to share their experiences of care and on behalf of their loved ones.

We’re looking for great case studies of carers to help us tell their stories of who they care for, why they became carers and the impact this has on their lives. We’ll use these touching and emotional stories to illustrate exactly what being a carer involves in the media to increase awareness.

If you know of a great carer in your community who might be interested in sharing their story, or you would like more information, please contact Samuel Wallace at samuel.wallace@cqc.org.uk
