Supported by The Mayor of London’s Culture Seeds, The WoWC is a free, weekly, artistic expression project for women who are residents of White City Estate.

In the six painting workshops, participants can discover their creativity, build friendships, and share their stories through art in a fun and relaxed environment.

No art experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.

The WoWC project is the brainchild of The RENA Initiative (Recognise, Empower & Nurture Artists).

The mission of this social enterprise is to create a world where art galleries and museums reflect the diversity of the local population, and where self-expression through visual arts is available for all.

The WoWC project is part of The RENA Initiative’s commitment to establish art programs in disadvantaged communities, creating the opportunity for empowerment, inspiration and improved mental health and well-being.

The WoWC commences on Thursday 1st August 2019 at 10:30am – 12:30pm at White City Community Centre.

Advance booking is essential as spaces are limited.

Priority will be given to residents of White City Estate who are either isolated, unemployed or elderly.
